Why, hello there! Two posts in two days? Who am I??? I hope you all are having a terrific Tuesday! Now, I must warn you: if you are hoping for some sort of deep, inspirational post - stop right now. Sorry dear friends but that unfortunately isn't the topic of today's discussion. I used to fear that I couldn't post a blog until I had some sort of really great topic that was perfectly thought out which led to my massive lack of writing. So, I'm trying a new approach this time. I'm just going to write. Anything and everything. And hopefully, that will lead to some really great posts with some really fantastic writing. So hang with me through some really boring posts and we'll get to the meaty stuff eventually.
So, this is my last ever Christmas break. Woah. Big-kid world is right around the corner. Literally. So (I say that a lot, my apologies) before Christmas break I decided that I was going to make this the best break ever. I made a pretty lengthy list of things I wanted to accomplish and set out to have a grand ol' time. This list included many cooking, crafting and cleaning/organizing tasks (thank you, wonderful world of pinterest.) Now, while I have had a pretty fantastic break, I am not sure that I have accomplished a single thing on that list. However, one thing I DID do this break (that wasn't even on my list) was make new year's resolutions for the first time ever (hence, the blog.) It was a pretty big commitment but, I feel up to the challenge. SO (there it is again...) the point of this post? You guessed it! My new year's resolutions. Ready? Here we go!
1. Complete my 365 picture project - I attempted this last year and failed so, here we go again!
2. Write more - ta daaaah!
3. Land a professional job
4. Read at least 12 books (not school related) - I better get crackin' on this one....
5. Maintain my weight
6. Run a 5K
7. Pay off credit cards - Yeaaa....not proud of this one but it is what it is....time to get these suckers gone for good!
8. Read the entire bible - Again, I started this last year and didn't complete it so, beginning today I will again work to read through the entire bible in a year!
WHEW! Just reading through these kind of wear me out but, I think they are definitely achievable. And, now that they're out there for all of cyber world to read, maybe y'all can keep me accountable to them? :) Did you make new year's resolutions? Any tips in keeping mine?
Well now that I have taken five years to get all this out there, I believe I'll go work on being productive in other ways for the rest of the day. Thanks for stopping by! See you SOON!
